We got our order of Chae Organics in today and in it was a new Body Butter aroma called Coco Mango. Oh my! When I lifted the lid on our Professional line to smell it . . . heavenly. Light and fruity. By far this is my favorite.
I love getting in new things for this season. All the little accessories, scarves, travel sizes of the luxurious creams we carry. It's so much fun to search out our local community. I find so many artisans here in Fort Collins and northern Colorado that it really opens my eyes up to who's around and reminds me that we really do have a lot to offer as a city. But for now, I'm going to deliciously apply that coco mango body butter to my colorado worn hands. Yum!
So, I started my journey of self discovery about 15 years ago. I had finally decided that sitting behind a cubicle, doing the hard work of supporting my "team" in the cutthroat world of corporate, was not for me. Was that going to help me live longer? The deadlines, competition, and NO sick days rule . . . I understand that some friends do thrive on that environment, but not me.
I preferred to help people. Not from behind a desk as employee number 59271, but actually talking to and sharing with people on an individual basis. I decided to go another route, and then another. And after pursuing 2 careers for a short time, I came back to my first instinct ~ Massage Therapy. I have since found that this is what completes me.
Eventually, my journey brought me to what had helped me. My own pain and health concerns had encouraged this pursuit of knowledge linking the body to the mind and nature's own cures. It had brought me to a place where I delve into plants, herbal medicine, and alternative therapies. My journey and my dreams could now move forward.
I dream that others can benefit from my experiences without the sterile atmosphere that a medical office provides. The single practitioner sharing an eclectic office is limited and was not my idea of a complete wellness space. I wanted a team of professionals that are striving to be experts in their fields. Surrounded with elegance, luxurious creams, and an organic space that is an affordable and familiar escape in which to pursue improvement of health. The common hum drum spa sought out only by the rich was not going to help anyone if they can't take advantage of it on a regular basis. And so I share my journey of continual self-renewal, passion for organic health discoveries, and freedom that business gives me to change my community. Can't wait to share it with you!
